Wayne County Community: A Place To Call Home
Communities are groups of people who live together and share common attitudes, interests, and goals – and strong communities are places of opportunity. For, the Wayne County Community and Forward Wayne County, this means a focus on the quality of place initiatives. We work to ensure that everyone in Wayne County knows about the local resources, amenities, and opportunities we have here.
We continue to seek to support initiatives, like neighborhood growth, environment, arts and cultural enrichment, and policy at the township, city, county, and state levels to ensure accessibility for everyone in the Wayne County Community.
- connect residents to each other
- provide safe and secure environments
- allow families to thrive
- give opportunities for growth
- increase contentment among residents
Reversing the county’s population decline will not be easy. However, our work is dedicated to creating a strong and vibrant community. We know families and individuals relocate for more than just a job. They want a community!
How do we sort those intangible attributes into action items? Forward Wayne County organizes them into four distinct focus areas that directly impact the Wayne County Community:
Wayne County Community is a place to grow, connect and thrive.
